Sharing my BROOKSIDE

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Hershey Company for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know?

  • I refuse to kill spiders but I love horror movies and slasher flicks
  • I love the country but I’m a city girl at heart
  • I’m a night-owl who also enjoys getting up early.
  • I’m a 40 year old mom who blasts uncensored, inappropriate music when I clean the house with my kids. Rage anyone?

Yes, all are true. Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars is hosting a #ShareYourBROOKSIDE sweepstakes. The idea is to show two sides of yourself. I don’t usually hop on brand campaigns but I found this one really fun. I’ve always felt we sometimes simplify other people, like they aren’t as complicated or interesting as we are when the opposite is true. Everyone has a story and the more we share and connect with others the better. Especially in today’s crazy world. Just look at the tiniest sampling of posts already shared on the hashtag.

Fun, right? You can see tons more by searching the #ShareYourBROOKSIDE hashtag and if you share your own you could win up to $1,000 toward a unique and fun adventure. All you need to do is post on Twitter or Instagram using #ShareYourBROOKSIDE and #SweepsEntry! You can also enter by commenting on a sweepstakes posts on the Brookside Facebook page. Go here for the Full sweepstakes rules and check out the BROOKSIDE website to learn more.

If you didn’t know, BROOKSIDE Yogurt Flavored Fruit & Nut Bars are a new product from Hershey and they are delicious! Screen Shot 2016-07-19 at 2.20.46 PM We brought the samples they sent me to the beach and they were a perfect snack. I love that they made with dried fruit, nuts, and seeds — the 11-Year-Old and I really enjoyed them.

For those curious, Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars are gluten-free, non-GMO and contain no artificial flavors. Both the Dark Chocolate and Yogurt Flavored Fruit & Nut Bars are all 180 calories. The flavors include:

  • Cranberry Blueberry with Citrus
  • Vanilla Fig
  • Mango Pineapple.
  • Cherry with Pomegranate Flavor
  • Cranberry with Blackberry Flavor (My fav!)
  • Blueberry with Açai Flavor

If you like nut based bars they are definitely worth a try. They’re tasty, convenient and satisfying.
