I had an old fashioned Sensational Sunday and it’s was glorious!
It all started bright and early hanging out with this leaping lizard.
He’s really into jumping at the moment.
The two of us hung out for a good hour before anyone else woke up. We cleaned and set up the Root-Vue Farm we got LAST year for Christmas.
Then it was breakfast time and I went to TOWN on my new cast-iron griddle, which is by far the my favorite Christmas gift of all time!
I made homemade sausage from the ground pork that was in this month’s ButcherBox.
French toast for the kids.
Eggs and bacon for The Husband.
And a scramble for me.
I seriously LOVE that thing! I think I’ve used it daily since getting it on Christmas. If you are interested in getting one I highly recommend it. Click here to see it on Amazon.
After breakfast we all got dressed and headed to the bowling alley.
I had to pre-bowl since I won’t be able to make my league this coming Thursday so we decided to make it a family outing.
Afterwards we hit Aldi for some stock items and produce.
The rest of the day was a bit of a blur and I totally forgot to take pictures. I had a bowl of my new butternut squash soup,
I made a pot roast, took a nap, cut The 10-Year-Old’s hair, folded my laundry, made lunch for tomorrow and cleaned up.
Now I’m watching The Golden Globes with The Husband and my goal is to be in bed by 10, so I’ve got to go.
My fridge is stocked, food is prepped, house is passable, kids are happy. Let’s start this week!
