Just Another Day at the Gym

Tuesdays are one of my busiest days. My alarm goes off at 5 a.m. so I can get to the gym and open up at 5:30 a.m. Then I take the 6 a.m. class with everyone.

That’s me in the back doing a turkish get up. We had 50 of them to do for today’s workout. It was INTENSE! Took me 23 minutes.

After the morning class I came home, saw the 10-year-old off to school and spent some time with the 4-year-old. He’s totally into Memory right now. It’s so fun!

Once I got him off to pre-k I got my hair cut, eye brows waxed and ran some errands before heading back to the gym for the afternoon shift.

I prepared for the evening’s Fit Kid’s Club meeting by designing an obstacle course,

posted a new “Quote of the Week,”

placed a shirt order, and studied the CrossFit certification materials until the afternoon classes came in.

I don’t have any photos but within the next hour the gym was hopping. I had 8 kids in the Kid’s Class, we had a new member taking the intro course and each class seemed to get busier than the last.

I stayed until about 7 and then took the kids to Chick-Fil-A for your traditional kid’s night dinner.

Then it was baths, story and bed.

The Husband came home shortly after from Tennis and I told him he wasn’t allowed to talk to me yet. I haven’t decompressed enough.

I still haven’t but sitting down to reflect on the day helped for sure.
